Kheiron is an 11 yr old gelding from the Sand Spring West H.M.A. NV0630 In Ely, Nevada.  He was captured over the age of 10 as a stallion, and considered Unadoptable, and Untrainable.  I was real leary of taking him on due to his age, and the fact that he was a wild stallion for 11 years, (gelded right before i got him) but i could see something in his eyes, he has a very gentle spirit, and decided that i was up to the challenge.

I had him Haltered and giving kisses in 2 weeks.

2 yrs later, He's still giving kisses.

Sierra, Kheiron and Gypsy in the back, working out their spring sillies.

This is Gypsy, My very first Mustang,  She is not a BLM mustang.  She comes from the Sheldon National Wildlife Reserve, in Denio Nevada.  She was 8 yrs old when I got her, and she was pregnant, and had a 6 month old filly on her side.  Of course I adopted the filly too. (she is Sierra)

Gypsy is Lead Mare, and always will be,  She can be real sweet, or real moody,  but she sure does love her food.

This is Sierra, My angel.  She is Gypsy's daughter.  She was captured at the age of 6 months, She is now 4 yrs old, and an absolute dream,  It wont be long before she is sent off to the trainers, and I can finally ride one of my Mustangs.

This is Sierra all grown up. she is now 4 yrs old.

This is Jose,  He is not a Mustang, he is a QH cross.  He is 25 yrs old, and the only horse on the farm that i can ride right now.  He is super sweet, a been there, done that horse.  And he has a forever home here with us.

This is my daughter Nikita, riding her horse, Jose.

The numbers freeze branded on his rump, signify, that he is a sale authority horse.  Again, because he was considered unadoptable, and untrainable.

This is Cisco, He was born 6 months after I got Gypsy.  She came off the range pregnant, so we have no idea who daddy is.  We no longer own Cisco,  We spoiled him too much when he was a baby, and became a handfull, so we sent him on with Douglas, (meet Douglas below)  when he was about 2 yrs old, we miss him dearly.

Cisco as a yearling.

This is Douglas, AKA Moose.  I named him Douglas, because when we met, it was my fathers birthday, and he had just passed away a few months before.   Unfortunately, this beautiful loving horse, only got to stay with me for 2 days.  He could clear a six foot fence from a standstill, and after escaping 2 times, and running down the highway, I needed to send him to a safer home.  I miss the big oaf.  please ignore the condition of the fence, we were trying anything possible to keep him in on a seconds notice.

This is Lady Bug, The only resgistered horse that i have owned.  She came to me at the ripe old age of 32.  She was a rescue from someone else, and I needed a companion for the pony that i had.  We never got to ride her, but she was my friend and confidante for 3 yrs.  She crossed over rainbow bridge, at the young age of 35.  She suffered with bad arthritis at the end, and was never really able to lay down, so i use to go out, and let her lay her head on my shoulder, and she would sink down, and sleep, and I would cry at the feeling of her spirit.

This is Frodo,  He is one of our pound puppies.  A sweet and loyal friend.

This is Zoey,  She is super friendly, but thinks shes in trouble whenever I try to take her picture, so she always looks like this in pictures.

What can I say about LuLu?   hmmmmm.  Shes a Terrier to a fault.  Thank the Lord shes cute, and makes us Laugh alot.
